The Floridan Palace Hotel is located in Tampa, Florida. It was built in 1926 by G.A. Miller and Francis J. Kennard and known has the Floridan Hotel. The hotel closed to the public in 1966 and was in use for long term renters only. It officially closed in 1989 and did not reopen until 2012 after a seven year renovation. This is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #96000315).
