The former York County Jail is located in York, South Carolina. It was built in 1828 and its design is attributed to Robert Mills, The building became a private residence in 1853 for Annie Latta Wilson. During the Reconstruction era, the building again became a jail for Ku Klux Klan members. This is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #74001887).
