Americus Carnegie Library, Americus, GA.
T. F. Lockwood firm designed the Americus Carnegie Library in 1908. Americus received a $20,000 grant from Carnegie. It is a two-story library building which includes an auditorium on the second floor. The building is one of its kind in Georgia. Today the auditorium is in good condition. the first floor has been converted for commercial use.
