The David S. Walker Library (also known as The University Library) is a historic library in Tallahassee, Florida named for Governor David S. Walker who served from 1865 through 1868, and founder of Tallahassee's first library. It is located 209 East Park Avenue. It is a two story brick building with columns at the entrance. On June 22, 1976, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, NRIS #76000600.
The Walker Library was functioning till 1976. The library serves as the home and meeting place for the board of Springtime Tallahassee, which is a civic organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the history of Tallahassee. They have raised funds to restore the building.
