The Ware County Confederate Monument is located in Phoenix Park on Plant Ave. at Pendleton Street, Waycross, GA. This statue was erected by the Francis S. Bartow Chapter U.D.C. and dedicated June 3, 1910 or Oct. 14, 1910.
The sculpture is of a Confederate soldier standing on the top column. He is in uniform and wears a wide brimmed hat. It is made of stone, marble and concrete. It was fabricated by the McNeel Marble Works. It is inscribed on all sides of the column.
