Description
The Nobska Point Lighthouse is located in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. It was originally built in 1829 and rebuilt in 1876 out of cast iron with a brick lining. The light was automated in 1985. Since 1994, it has been operated by the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 11-2. This is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #87001483).
