Description
The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens is located in Jacksonville, Florida. It is housed in the former residence of Ninah Cummer who bequeathed the home and her art collection to the city of Jacksonville in 1961. The museum has over 5,000 pieces from Early Meissen porcelain to masterpieces of Romare Bearden. It is a contributing building on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #85000689) and a part of the Riverside Historic District.
