Building Name
San Marco Theater
Description
San Marco Theater, Jacksonville FL
Built in 1938 by a nationally recognized architect - Roy Benjamin (who also built the beautiful Florida Theatre). This art deco movie house offers first-run Hollywood films plus eats, beer & wine.
The San Marco Theater turned 75 years in 2013 and is still showing movies full time. The theater is a throwback with its single screen, and it's still a favorite community spot. The beautifully maintained San Marco Theatre remains immune to the travails of time and the Art Deco style.
