Vocational Agriculture Building Interior 1, Bunnell, FL
The Vocational Agriculture Building is a historic building in Bunnell, Florida, United States. It is located at 1001 E. Howe Street. On February 21, 2007, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, NRIS #07000058. Officially known as the Vocational Agricultural Building, the Little Red Schoolhouse , was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. But the path to that designation was long.
In 1987, Marquis laid out a plan before members of the Flagler County School Board to restore the Little Red Schoolhouse. It took 7 years to finish this project. It is the coolest museum in Flagler county, everything looks exactly the way it was. 90 % of the artifacts on display are genuine antiques, including a letter from Mary McLead Bethune, a 48 star American flag, a letter to Charles Lindbergh. Tours can be arranged through the Flagler County Historical Society .
