Colored Memorial School was built in January 1922 and was renamed Risley High School in honor of Captain Douglas G. Risley. It is located at 1800 Albany Street in Brunswick. The first building, built in 1922, is in solid condition and is an excellent example of brick masonry and wood frame construction with Neoclassical Revival elements.
