Fernandina Beach is a city in Nassau County in the state of Florida in the United States of America, on Amelia Island. It is among Florida's northernmost cities, and is one of the principal municipalities comprising Greater Jacksonville.
The town schoolhouse was built in 1886. The building has many of the emblishments of a prosperous community. The structure is in a National Historic District that is on the National Register of Historic Places. Several businesses are housed in the structure.
