This was built in 1936. The project of the construction of the John Harris Junior High School building on Kingsland Drive was approved and paid for by the Federal government.. John and Cora Harris moved to Folkston and he served the as the school principal and then the County School Superintendent for many years. This is the entry doorway of the school.
