Colored Memorial School and Risley High School is a historic school complex in Brunswick, Georgia where a Freedmen's School opened in 1870. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 7, 2002., NRIS #02001290. It is located at 1800 Albany Street and is currently a middle school.
In 1923 Colored Memorial High School building was built and named to honor African-American veterans in World War I. It is a landmark of African-American education in Glynn County. This school has continued to operate since its opening. Originally intended as a school for African Americans, it is one of the few schools that survived desegregation.
