Wilson Robinson Sr. was a native of Archer, and spent much of his time to improve the community. He founded the Archer Community Progressive Organization and the Day Care Center. He was a man of strong religious faith and served as a deacon , teacher for the Archer Church in Christ and the Sunday school. he was the first African American to be elected to the Archer City Council.
This marker is dedicated to his memory., outside the Memorial Pavilion, in Archer.
