Description

Former U.S. Courthouse Building and Downtown Postal Station located in Tampa, Florida. It was built from 1902-1905 in the Beaux-arts architectural style and designed by James Knox Taylor. It was also known as the U.S. Post Office, Courthouse and Custom House. The city of Tampa acquired the property in 2003 and it is now the Le Meridien hotel. This is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #74000633).
