The Hippodrome State Theatre was built in 1911 and originally functioned as a post office and Courthouse of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida until 1964. It was constructed in Palladium Classical Revival architectural style, This is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #79000659).
