Description
Former National Loan and Exchange Bank located in Columbia, South Carolina. Columbia's first skyscraper was built in 1903 and designed by James Brite in the Georgian Revival architectural style. The Barringer Corporation which owned by the building from 1953 to 1974 gave it its common name of the Barringer Building. This is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #79003374).
