Description
Fairfield County Courthouse located in Winnsboro, South Carolina. It was designed by Robert Mills and built between 1822-1823. The courthouse was remodeled in 1939 at which time the circular steps and piazza were added. The brick exterior was also covered with sandstone plaster during the remodel. This is a contributing building on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #71000780) and a part of the Winnsboro Historic District.
