Description
Former Palmetto Building located in Columbia, South Carolina. It was between 1912-1913 and designed by Julius Harder for the National Bank. It has a palmetto tree motif in Gothic detailing. This was the tallest building in Columbia when it was constructed. This is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #80003696). The building was renovated into the Sheraton Columbia Downtown hotel.
