Description

Former Bank of Morganton located in Morganton, North Carolina. The bank was organized in 1904 and merged with First National Bank in 1929. For several years it was home to The Book Store. This building was constructed in 1924 in the Classical Revival architectual style. This is a contributing building on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #87001930) and a part of the Morganton Downtown Historic District.
