Orange Lodge No.36 is a Regular and Recognized masonic lodge located in Apopka, FL, having a charter through the Grand Lodge of FL, F&AM, which is recognized by the United Grand Lodge of England.
Orange Lodge No. 36 is the oldest lodge in continuous use in the state of Florida. The lodge was established under a warrant issued January 14th 1856. This building was erected here in 1859, the upper story has been continually used for lodge meetings. The original lower floor was used as a post office, school, church and general store. Masons from miles around visited the community, which was known as "The Lodge" until the town of Apopka was chartered in1882.
