The Tampa City Hall is a historic site in Tampa, Florida, United States. It was designed by Bonfoey & Elliott and is located at 315 East John F. Kennedy Boulevard. It was documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey in 1981. On October 1, 1974, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
The Old City Hall in Tampa turned 100 years in 2015. The Tampa City Council - which meets and is housed inside the old City Hall - is planning to spend about $16 million dollars over the next few years to give the building a major makeover, It is a major landmark in Tampa. It is a ten story 1914 brick and granite building which is now surrounded by skyscrapers.
