The Albany Municipal Auditorium is a multi-purpose auditorium located in downtown Albany, Georgia, U.S. The 965-seat, classic style auditorium includes an orchestra level, as well as first and second balconies. The auditorium is part of a sports, entertainment and convention complex that also includes the Albany Civic Center and the Veterans Park Amphitheater.
Albany's magnificent, historic auditorium is completely restored and fast gaining a reputation throughout Southwest Georgia as a center for performing arts. Built in 1915, and recently restored, the Albany Municipal Auditorium's antique magnificence has helped to land it on the National Register of Historic Places. This Georgia landmark, built to hold 965 people on three levels, now plays host to a number of Albany's best fine arts entertainment.
