Description
Former First Baptist Church located in Gastonia, North Carolina. This Mediterrean Revival church was built in 1922 and designed by Willard G. Rogers. The property was sold to St. Stephens AME Zion Church in 1999. The church also leases a portion of the building to the Gastonia Arts Council for Unity Place. This is a contributing building on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #03001375) and a part of the Downtown Gastonia Historic District.
