Description
Historic Holy Family Senior/Community Center located in Apalachicola, Florida. This mission style building was built in 1929 as a Catholic school for the black population. The school/church was also used as a community center until the building was declared unsafe. The city later bought the property and it was re-opened as a senior citizens center in 2012. This is a contributing building on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #80000951) and a part of the Apalachicola Historic District.
