The Student Wellness Complex is a multi-faceted 19.5 million dollar facility is a state-of-the-art wellness, fitness and sports learning facility that offers UNF students, faculty and staff unlimited access to the largest, most comprehensive wellness center in northeast Florida.

The Student Wellness Complex was designed by Borrelli & Partners, Inc. / PSA Dewberry, a joint venture. This state-of-the-art, LEED®-Gold certified building is the largest and most comprehensive wellness center in Northeast Florida. The goal of this facility is to provide students with quality indoor facilities that will enable them to participate in activities that will enhance their health and wellness levels, provide them with lifelong wellness, sports and fitness learning skills for the future.

The first floor is home to the departments of Campus Recreation and Health Promotions. The majority of group fitness classes are scheduled among the three dedicated indoor group fitness rooms. It has the 'Jumba Juice" and the 34' climbing wall. The 2nd level is home to The Dottie Dorion Fitness Center. The Dr. Paul Shirley Assessment Center is located off the fitness floor space. This center offers students immediate access to personal fitness and nutritional assessments.

The 1/8 mile track on the 3rd level circumnavigates the perimeter of the building giving views of the fitness level, atrium, and fantastic outdoor views through its large windows.
