Description
Kingsley Plantation main house located on Fort George Island, Florida. The house was built between 1797-1798 and is believed to be the oldest surviving plantation house in Florida. The plantation was named for Zephaniah Kingsley who lived there from 1814-1830's with his African wife, Anna Madgigine Jai. It is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #70000182).
