Cairo, the county seat of Grady County, is a city of 9,700 in southwest Georgia.
This Old Cairo depot was built in 1905 by the Atlantic Coast Line. It was a fine brick depot. After the arrival of the railroad growth in Cairo was steady. It now houses the Cairo Police Department.
