McIntosh Train Depot 1, Fl.
McIntosh, a small Victorian town located in North Central Florida approximately 20 miles south of Gainesville.This railroad depot was built in 1884 by the old Florida Southern Railroad. In 1973 it was restored by a group of townsfolk who felt the depot was a valuable landmark, and saved it. It now draws thousands of people who come to see the historic homes, & live entertainment.
