Boulware Spring Waterworks

Description

Boulware Springs Waterworks located in Gainesville, Florida. It is at 3300 SE 15th Street. Built in the 19th century, this was the site of the original water plant for the city of Gainesville. In 1854, the spring was the site where the citizens of Alachua county voted to move the county seat from Newnansville to a newly created town of Gainesville. The building is now a museum. This is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #85001255).
