Description
Cornerstone for the 1887 sanctuary of the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. Located in Gainesville, Florida, the 1887 sanctuary replaced an earlier wood frame building. The sanctuary built in 1887 burned in a fire in 1903 and was subsequently rebuilt in 1904. This is a contributing building on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #89000323).
