Acosta Bridge
The St. Elmo W. Acosta Bridge is fixed span bridge on the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida. It has six lanes for vehicles, two monorail tracks for the Jacksonville Skyway, and two sidewalks. The bridge was named after City Councilman St. Elmo W. Acosta, who was instrumental in raising funds for the bridge to be built.
