Description
The historical booklet was authorized and paid for by the City of Jacksonville. The pamphlet discusses the history of Jacksonville and notable places in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas to visit as a tourist. Locations in Jacksonville include Hemming Park, the Public Library at Adams and Ocean Streets, Municipal Electric Light Plant, Chamber of Commerce and the Motor Club. Surrounding area locations include the Florida Ostrich Farm, Jacksonville Beach, Heckscher Drive, Municipal Zoo, Fort George Island, Fernandina, Orange Park, Green Cove Springs, Penney Farms, St. Augustine, Matanzas Fort and the Spanish Trail.
