Bainbridge is a city in Decatur County, Georgia, United States. The city is the county seat of Decatur County.
This is the Old Library in downtown Bainbridge, Georgia. Leslie Harrell, wife of businessman Mike Harrell, owns the brick building at 200 W Broughton Street, which will become the new church, as the Bainbridge City Council approved a conditional use request by the owner. Most recently it was rented out for private functions, and the downstairs was used as a photography studio.
This is the plaque on the library wall which reads as -- " City of Bainbridge and Decatur County Library, erected 1939 -40, J. G. Kwilecki, Mayor Aldermen. ...... W.P.A. project"
