The town of Longwood had grown, it had hotels, churches, stores & weekly newspaper. The Florida land boom saw the revival of Longwood, with paved streets, municipal water system, a dog track, horse track, & golf course. The area developed by Henck became the Longwood's Historic District and was listed in the National Register of Historic Places .

Seminole County Historical Commission, dedicated in 1998.
