Description
Historic Longwood / E. W. Henck Marker ( Obverse), Longwood, Fl.
Mr. E. W. Henck was a young man from Boston, who came here in 1872, and established a town now Historic Longwood. He became the first postmaster. After the completion of the railroad Longwood grew rapidly, with a station in Longwood. The town of Longwood was incorporated in 1883 and he became the first mayor.
